The Arterial Tree Project at Brown University

In this presentation I will give an overview of the state of a research on blood flow performed by our group at Brown University. I will discuss flow and blood rheology modeling, and show results of the most recent multi-scale simulations performed with our coupled atomistic-continuum solver. I will also focus on the 1D and 3D modeling of the flow and discuss the potential implementation of the multi-patch decomposition (in 3D) to solve flow problem in very large arterial networks.
